Aclus Engineering, LLC, in partnership with Econsouth, LLC, successfully obtained $3.7 million in funding from the USDA for improvements to the Wahneta Water System. Approximately 45% of the $3.7 million is grant Dollars while the rest is a low interest loan.

On April 22, 2014, in celebration of Earth Day, Aclus organized an event at Wahneta Elementary, in which the USDA presented the $3.7 million symbolic check to the community. The school's faculty and students (approx 500 students), members of the Wahneta Board and staff, USDA directors and staff, and Aclus Engineering attended the event which included a presentation about Earth Day by the school's Principal and a tree planting activity around the school's playground.
